About the event

Professor Monacelli will help us understand the climate of uncertainty we are facing due to the latest decisions on tariffs taken by the Trump administration. The discussion will follow along the results of two of his latest articles, “Euro Area Risk amid US Protectionism” (March 2025) and “Tariffs and Monetary Policy” (April 2025). His insights will provide a look at the phenomenon through the lenses of international macroeconomics and finance, attempting to draw policy implications for decisionmakers on this side of the Atlantic.
