Who are we?
The Economic Society for Bocconi Students (ESBS) is the first-established Economics student society at Università Bocconi (Milan).
Launched by a group of DES/ESS students, the Society is now a vibrant community of almost fifty fellows with a sheer passion for economics.
We aim at promoting a critical, rigorous but innovative thinking in the field of social sciences, in order to improve the quality of debate on economic matters among the members and the Bocconi student community.
What do we do?
Our main activities feature:
- Internal seminars, where our members present their original work or academic papers of their interest.
- Open seminars and lectures held by Bocconi professors.
- Public events and conferences on the most significant economic topics, with leading economists, scholars, journalists and politicians.
The Society recruits twice a year at the beginning of each academic semester. We are always looking for passioned students interested in discussing and promoting Economics.
